NIH Research Acquires Technology Services Company

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- NIH Research, the nation’s leading provider of Market Research, Lead Generation, Lead Qualification, and Lead Tracking Services for the Healthcare Information Technology market, has completed its acquisition of a leading technology services firm, CDS Systems. The transaction was finalized during the HIMSS 2005 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, Texas.

Through the acquisition of this wholly owned subsidiary, NIH Research enhances its current offerings to include technology consulting, implementation, procurement and support services. These newly available services are offered under the name NIH Technologies. The addition of NIH Technologies to the product portfolio serves to further NIH Research toward its goal of being a “Total Sales Solution” for the Healthcare Information Technology industry.

Bruce Roberson, CEO and co-founder of NIH Research, said this acquisition was timely in addressing the technology needs of clients:

“Sales and marketing organizations are busy enough trying to achieve thier quota and revenue objectives. By offering bundled outsourced services such as opportunity databases, lead generation, market research, customer satisfaction, win-loss, and other data gathering services in combination with technology solutions such as sales tracking systems as well as other sales support technologies, our clients can focus on what they do best -- selling. NIH Research can now, truly, offer a seamless one-stop shop for outsourced sales and marketing support services.”

NIH Technologies will expand the services of the parent company in three vital areas:

* Further enhance NIH Research’s existing deliverables to provide client access tools for Lead Generation and Market Research. These tools include the increasingly popular ASP deployed Sales Tracking and Executive Lead Assessment (STELA) system for managing and tracking the sales pipeline.

* NIH Research will now provide implementation services on an outsourced basis. Healthcare IT clients can contract NIH to conduct site evaluations and preparations for their product implementation, infrastructure upgrades to the physical plant, as well as enhance and/or create local and wide-area networks.

* NIH Technologies will provide consulting and technology support directly to the healthcare provider community, including Hospitals, Physician’s Practices, and Ambulatory Care Centers.

David Levy, founder of CDS Systems, will oversee the operations of NIH Technologies as Executive Vice President of NIH Research:

“The CDS Systems team is proud to officially join the professionals at NIH Research. We have developed a suite of products and services that supplement NIH Research’s traditional core products -- products that the Healthcare IT community has come to rely on for over 12 years.”

Once a client has engaged with NIH Research, they will have access to not only the most experienced and proven Healthcare Technology Lead Generation Consultants, but now they will have access to an ASP Lead Tracking system, fresh opportunity database, available sales consulting/training, and now, expanded systems and networking provisions needed to improve the client’s sales process.
