Med-Emerg International Inc. Signs Contract With Atlantic Health Human Resources Association To Conduct Major Health Education And Training Planning Study For Atlantic Provinces

TORONTO, April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Med-Emerg International Inc. (OTC BB: MDER- MDERW) announced today it has signed a $970,000 contract with the Atlantic Health Human Resources Association (AHHRA) to conduct a regional health human resource planning study in the four Atlantic provinces.

The contract for an Atlantic Health Education Training Planning Study extends over a 12 month period and will assess the Atlantic region's overall future requirements for major health care occupations building on needs assessments conducted by each Atlantic province in the first phase of a two- phase regional cooperation initiative on health human resources. The project also includes development of a re-usable, scenario-based education and training planning tool to assist the four Atlantic provinces in determining the type and number of health education and training programs needed to meet the region's health human resource requirements.
