One contract is for Omnicell’s OptiFlex(TM) product line, which provides end-to-end solutions to help optimize the healthcare facility’s medical-surgical supply chain. These solutions are designed for use in the materials management department, the nursing unit, specialty areas, and the patient’s bedside. OptiFlex solutions enable healthcare facilities to reduce consumption and inventory, as well as increase the overall efficiency and productivity of both materials management and nursing.
The second contract is for Omnicell’s MedGuard(TM) comprehensive suite of solutions for every step of the medication-use process. MedGuard solutions are scaleable and designed for the central pharmacy, nursing unit, and the patient’s bedside. They enable healthcare facilities to reduce medication errors, operate more efficiently, and decrease costs.
