HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Karline Roberts has joined HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance as vice president of quality improvement. She will be responsible for the company's disease management and quality improvement activities including HEDIS and NCQA preparations, health education, and appeals and grievances.
Roberts brings to HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance extensive experience in quality improvement. Most recently, Roberts was director of health care quality improvement at Blue Shield of Northeastern New York where she oversaw the company's NCQA accreditation and disease management programs for its 300,000 members. Among her many achievements, she developed an award-winning disease management program and she has published articles on the topic.
