GetWellNetwork Signs New Partnership Agreements With Two Hospitals

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- GetWellNetwork(R), the leading provider of interactive patient care solutions, announced today that it has signed new multi-year agreements with two leading hospitals, St. Clare’s of Weston (Wisconsin) and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital (Virginia). These additions bring the total number of U.S. hospitals using the GetWellNetwork platform to more than 30 -- impacting more than 350,000 patients each year. The announcement was made during the Health Forum and AHA Leadership Summit in San Diego, CA (July 28-30), for which GetWellNetwork is a corporate underwriter.

The agreements provide patients, caregivers and administrators access to the GetWellNetwork PatientLife:)System(TM), which helps improve patient satisfaction, enhance patient outcomes and streamline hospital efficiencies.

GetWellNetwork also reported that three existing client hospitals have expanded their agreements by installing the PatientLife:)System for additional patients. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital (Virginia), Winchester Medical Center (Virginia), and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Pennsylvania) have expanded their use of the GetWellNetwork platform throughout their respective facilities.

GetWellNetwork attributes the reason for the expansions to positive feedback hospital administrators have received from their patients and nursing staffs regarding the innovative patient care system.

“We are very excited and encouraged to see such strong momentum within the market. Two years ago, interactive systems were ‘nice to haves’ for many hospitals. Today, our clients are gaining a valuable competitive advantage. Improving patient satisfaction remains a primary reason that hospitals are adopting our solutions,” said Michael O’Neil, Founder and CEO of GetWellNetwork, Inc. “In addition, our clients are seeking more efficient means for addressing compliance requirements for patient documentation -- something our system handles effortlessly for our clients.”

PatientLife:)System Overview

The PatientLife:)System is an interactive patient care platform that enhances the patient experience, increases communication within care teams and informs patients about their condition during their hospital stay -- all at the bedside via hospital room television monitors. The award-winning software is built upon the PatientPathway:)Architecture(TM) which dynamically launches features within the system to automate clinical and non-clinical processes (e.g., patient education) -- helping hospitals deliver a coordinated, cohesive and efficient experience for the patient.
