PHOENIX, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Duraswitch PushGate(R) pushbutton switch technology has been selected for depth of consciousness monitoring equipment.
Duraswitch licensee, Eastprint, is manufacturing the 10-key control panels, which were designed by Eclipse Product Development Corp. Used for intra-operative or intensive care, the equipment helps clinicians monitor and manage a patient's level of consciousness under anesthesia.

PushGate is a unique pushbutton that employs the simple combination of a metal actuator and a magnet. PushGate provides superior tactile feedback that does not degrade over time or use. Using the natural force of magnetism instead of flexing domes or springs, PushGate is substantially more durable than conventional switch technologies.
