WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Scientific Track at the 2004 DMLF was designed to increase the robustness of DM program evaluation and share latest thinking in the areas of quality and research. As envisioned by the elite Scientific Advisory Panel, the faculty and papers presented in this track met stringent review criteria by a panel of esteemed judges who then selected the “best” of the papers for the Scientific Track Oral Presentation Award. This is a prestigious award conferred for excellence in research that advances knowledge and understanding in a meaningful way for those for whom DM is important.
The Scientific Posters underwent a similar rigorous review process; General Posters were judged on a broader set of criteria. The winners are shown below.
