The lawsuit was never more than an attempt to intimidate not only Charles Rehberg and John Bagnato, but anyone in the Albany community who dared to speak the truth about the conduct of Phoebe’s Administration and Board or raise questions with regard to how this Board and Administration are conducting Phoebe’s operations as a not-for-profit hospital. The launching of this suit is yet another stark example of how Phoebe’s Board and Administration pervert the use of taxpayer dollars rather than using the funds of this community to fulfill Phoebe’s obligation to provide charitable healthcare to the uninsured.
