Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin (BCBSWi) today announced a generic drug alternative program that will help most BCBSWi and CompcareBlue (CCB) members reduce their out-of-pocket costs. GenericSelect(SM) allows members to obtain more than a dozen popular generic drugs at no cost for their first retail prescription when they begin a new drug therapy with a GenericSelect(SM) drug. GenericSelect(SM) is available to the majority of BCBSWi’s commercial members.
