North Carolina State Health Plan Selects CHD Meridian Healthcare To Provide On-Site Pharmacy And Primary Care Services

I-trax, Inc. (Amex: DMX), a leader in integrated health and productivity management, announced today that the State of North Carolina has selected CHD Meridian Healthcare, an I-trax company, to provide on-site pharmacy and primary care services for a pilot program in Canton, North Carolina. I-trax expects the program to service approximately 4,000 State Health Plan members from Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Madison, Swain and Transylvania Counties. The pharmacy will generate annual drug sales of approximately $1 million, and the program is expected to save the NC State Health Plan a minimum of $200,000 a year. The Board of Trustees for the Plan approved the program to help manage skyrocketing healthcare costs in the State.
