Market Watch -- An upswing in the wider market provided a lift to most airline stocks on Thursday, though higher oil prices put some pressure on shares for U.S. major carriers. At last check, the Amex Airline Index /quotes/comstock/10t!xal.x (XAL 16.41, +0.25, +1.55%) added 1.4% to 16.39 points with all but two of its 13 components trading up.
