The appointments are:
Edwin Rosas, who has been Senior Vice President of the Park City Solutions - Government Services Group, has been promoted to President of that group. Through his dynamic leadership and thorough knowledge of the government healthcare sector, PCS has been extremely successful at delivering software technology and consulting solutions to the U.S. Federal Government. Prior to joining PCS, Mr. Rosas spent more than twenty years as a distinguished healthcare executive in the U.S. Navy. He was selectively chosen to manage development, implementation, and support for several enterprise applications that were deployed worldwide to more than four hundred Military Treatment Facilities supporting over 100,000 customers.
Jim Hall joins Park City Solutions as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Hall brings to Park City Solutions over twenty years of sales leadership experience in healthcare information technology and in the managed care marketplace. Before joining PCS, Mr. Hall was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Connecture, Inc. Prior to this, he had been President of InfoMentis, Inc., a sales training and consulting company serving technology companies. Mr. Hall’s experience also includes roles as Senior Vice President of Sales at IMNET Systems, Inc., Vice President of Sales for The CompuCare Company, and Director of Sales at First Data Corporation’s Health Systems Group.
Gary Bowers joins Park City Solutions as Senior Vice President of Product Technology. Mr. Bowers has over thirty years of technical and management experience in the computer software and services field. Most recently he was General Partner at Rardin Capital Management, a technology and financial consulting company. Prior to that, Mr. Bowers had been a senior executive at IMNET Systems, Inc. where he was Executive Vice President of Product Technology and Chief Operating Officer at the time of IMNET’s acquisition by McKessonHBOC. Prior to that, Mr. Bowers had worked for many years at Software AG of North America, Inc. in various management and executive positions in the areas of consulting, education, customer support, sales support, product marketing and product development. He was a founding management team member of the Software AG Federal Systems Division when it was formed in 1986. Mr. Bowers began his career as a Programmer/Analyst at E. I. DuPont de Nemours, Inc.
Tom Smith continues to lead the financial management team at Park City Solutions in his role as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Smith has been at the company since its first year of operations and he has a solid background in finance and operations management. He has worked in a variety of industries and has broad experience in the areas of financial management, strategic planning, contracting, mergers and acquisitions, systems development, and corporate administration.
Randy Bailey has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Consulting Services for the newly consolidated PCS Consulting Services Group. Mr. Bailey has been actively involved in the healthcare information technology market for more than twenty years. His experience includes operational and leadership roles in healthcare information technology consulting companies and also at HCIT software and services providers. Prior to joining PCS, Mr. Bailey was co-founder of First Choice Consulting. As Co-Founder and Vice President, his responsibilities included all aspects of business operations including: budget planning, staff recruitment and compensation, sales, marketing, competitive analysis, and product development. The First Choice Consulting market consisted of 600+ primary care health care facilities throughout the United States.
Kathleen Murphy, Ph.D. has been promoted to Senior Vice President - Laboratory Services Group. As Senior Vice President, Dr. Murphy oversees all aspects of our laboratory business, including consulting, management support and benchmarking. Dr. Murphy has been with Park City Solutions, formerly Chi Laboratory Systems for ten years. In various roles as Vice President, she has been responsible for the management and growth of the consulting divisions of the Laboratory Services Group. Over the past year, Kathy has grown revenue and profitability in her service line by 66% and 300%, respectively. Dr. Murphy has over twenty years of progressively responsible experience in health care operations and consulting. Prior to joining Chi and PCS, she was a Director of Lab and Radiology at Boston University Medical Center and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital of Boston where she planned, implemented, and managed two large laboratory outreach programs. She now works to assist laboratories around the country to compete and win against large commercial laboratories. Dr. Murphy is acknowledged as a national speaker in the laboratory industry. She is particularly noted for leadership, financial innovation, and turnarounds in operations and client relationships through quality management.
