(MTPA), today announced that RADICAVA® (edaravone) is now listed on the Alberta Drug Benefit List formulary (special authorization). RADICAVA is an intravenous infusion treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a rapidly progressive, neurodegenerative, fatal disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.1 "We are extremely grateful to the Government of Alberta for making RADICAVA available to those who are eligible for coverage under the Alberta Drug Benefit List program," said Atsushi Fujimoto, President, MTP-CA.
