China–West Perspectives on Innovation, Globalization, and the Next Wave of ADC Development

ABOUT THE EVENT

Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026 11am EDT
Event Location: Virtual

Fresh off ASCO 2026, ADCs are once again at the center of global oncology innovation. This year, China-led ADC studies outnumbered U.S.-led studies among ASCO presentations for the first time, with several readouts benchmarked directly against leading global ADCs and, in some cases, beginning to challenge them. In parallel, Big Pharma BD teams are engaging Chinese biotech founders more actively, with deal discussions shifting from data credibility to global rights strategy.

Against this backdrop, “China BioPioneers” launches its first international webinar episode, bringing together panelists from Merck, Orum, Xyone, and leading Chinese biotechs MediLink and Lepu for a timely China–West discussion on ADC innovation, globalization, and the future direction of the field.

Co-hosted by AsymBio, Asymchem, ISWTC (InScienceWeTrust Community), Healthcare Executive, and Weijieyao, the series is designed to foster deeper dialogue between Chinese innovators and global industry leaders. The panel will explore where China and the West may diverge in ADC development, how manufacturing and supply chain could shape the next competitive edge, the path from China innovation to global products, and where the next wave of ADC breakthroughs may come from.

What We Will Cover
