CGT Symposium: In Vivo CAR-T Innovation

ABOUT THE EVENT

Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026 1–5pm PDT
Event Location: South San Francisco, California

In vivo CAR-T has attracted significant attention from venture capital and the pharmaceutical industry. By offering the potential to overcome some of the most persistent constraints of ex vivo CAR-T, including expensive and complex workflows and limited scalability, this approach addresses challenges that often create financial barriers to patient access. At the same time, new scientific and engineering solutions are needed to tackle issues such as achieving efficient and selective in vivo delivery, controlling CAR expression, and improving safety and efficacy in order to build a reliable therapeutic modality.

The Bay Area In Vivo CAR-T Symposium aims to bring together scientists to discuss the emerging challenges and innovations shaping this rapidly evolving field. Through short talks and discussions, the event seeks to foster dialogue and collaboration across the growing ecosystem of researchers working to turn the promise of in vivo CAR-T into reality.

The symposium will be held at Timber & Tide from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, followed by a networking happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
