VISICU Inc., originator of the patent-pending eICU(R) solution, announced today that Provena Health in Illinois will offer eICU care to its critical care patients. The eICU solution uses proprietary early warning software and electronic monitoring to connect and provide off-site intensivists and critical care nurses with the information needed to proactively care for ICU patients. This agreement reflects Provena Health's continuing commitment to improving patient care and quality throughout its six hospital health system in the greater Chicago area and East-Central Illinois.
