“This is a time of great challenge for nonprofit health care systems,” Hanson said. “I’m proud of the teams I’ve worked with over the years to build health systems, and I’m excited about the opportunity to make significant contributions to health care in one of the largest and fastest growing metropolitan areas of the country. Both Texas Health Resources and Doug Hawthorne have excellent reputations nationally, and I look forward to becoming part of the THR team.”
