Misys Healthcare Systems Demonstrates Interoperable; Misys Optimum RIS-PACS Solution At PACS 2005

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2005--On the heels of the HIMSS rally cry for interoperability standards to build a national health information network by Health Information Technology Coordinator David Brailer, M.D., Ph.D., Misys Healthcare Systems reveals its integrated Misys Optimum(TM) RIS-PACS solution at the PACS 2005 5th Annual Conference. The product demonstration will show how radiology and picture archiving communication system (PACS) solutions can work in tandem with electronic health records (EHRs) across the care continuum. “Technology is available today for hospitals and physicians to accomplish the goal of a complete EHR providing ubiquitous sharing of patient-specific clinical information through standard protocols supporting interoperability,” said Dave Jones, B.S., R.T.
