RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2005--Misys Healthcare Systems today announced that it will work jointly with UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) to provide medical health care professionals a direct link for claims processing, automated payment posting and eligibility checking. This direct link will streamline electronic transaction processing by reducing the amount of time it takes to transmit the transaction from the health care professional's office to UnitedHealth Group. Misys and UnitedHealth Group expect to introduce this service by mid-February.
