BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2005-- Strategic Alliance to Improve the Quality and Cost of Care for more than 25,000 Medicare Fee-for-Service Beneficiaries Health Dialog Services Corporation today announced that it will support Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic (DHC) in its participation in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) first pay-for-performance initiative for physicians. The initiative will study the use of financial incentives for improved quality and coordination in large group practices, and as a participant, DHC will execute a three-year demonstration project across five clinical care sites in New Hampshire. Through the alliance with Health Dialog, the demonstration will provide more than 25,000 Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries access to care management services. DHC’s Manchester site was the first to implement the program, effective April 1, 2005, with subsequent roll-outs planned for additional sites.
