Study Confirms Breakthrough Treatment Can Reduce Opioid Use After Surgery

A new study suggests opioid use can be minimized for patients during the surgical recovery period with the infusion of a local anesthetic through a nerve catheter delivered via intermittent boluses and over a longer duration of time. Patients in the study were connected to a Nimbus II PainPRO, a non-narcotic ambulatory infusion pump distributed by InfuTronix Solutions.
