IngenKO Pty Ltd was established in June 2001 as a commercial supplier of gene targeted mice on a fee for service basis to customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical research industries.
Through an exclusive contract with a world leading team at the Centre for Functional Genomics and Disease at the Monash Institute of Reproduction and Development IngenKO provides high quality mouse knockout services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The company harnesses 10 years experience in the contracting of knockout services to major pharmaceutical companies.
IngenKO provides a complete vector design and vector construction service followed by the generation of conventional and conditional knockout and knockin mice. Mice modified in this way represent a valuable step in identifying those genes which are potential targets for the development of therapeutic and diagnostic products.
IngenKO is a subsidiary of CopyRat Pty Ltd, a company that aims to become a world leading supplier of rat models of human disease to the biomedical industry and the academic community for medial research.
