Under the terms of the deal, RegenxBio granted Pfizer a non-exclusive global license, with rights to sublicense, RegenxBio’s NAV AAV9 vector. In return, Pfizer is paying RegenxBio an upfront payment, various milestones and royalties on net sales.
The new company will be helmed by Mylan’s Michael Goettler and is expected to generate 2020 revenues of $19 to $20 billion.
It is approved for adults with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, granulomatosis with polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis.
