HUTCHMED Receives Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China for Savolitinib for Gastric Cancer

HUTCHMED Limited announces that the Center for Drug Evaluation of China’s National Medical Products Administration has granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation to savolitinib for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma patients with mesenchymal epithelial transition factor amplification who have failed at least two lines of standard therapies.

Bristol Myers Squibb announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Reblozyl® for the treatment of anemia without previous erythropoiesis stimulating agent use in adult patients with very low- to intermediate-risk myelodysplastic syndromes who may require regular red blood cell transfusions.
