Calibrate, Inc. was founded in 1983 in re¬sponse to a lack of on-site pipette calibration and repair options. Rather than send pipettes back to the manufacturer, users would simply buy new instruments and throw away the old. When Calibrate, Inc. started provided a cost-saving and convenient on-site solution for pi¬pette maintenance, a new industry was born.

Locations and Service Options
Continuing our tradition of innovation, convenience, excellence, and customer-driven service, Calibrate, Inc. continues to be a leader in the industry. ISO 17025 accredited by A2LA for on-site calibration, our quality services are available nationwide and in Eastern Canada. Because we believe in giving our customers options, we also have three environmentally controlled, accredited mail-in facilities strategically placed throughout the US. Whether you prefer to have your instruments serviced on-site or mail-in, our services are uniform in their excellence.

We provide services for all brands and manufacturers of pipettes including multi-channel and electronic configurations. We offer service for bottle top dispensers and pipet-aids, too. All six levels of service come with no-fade, pipette-friendly stickering, a full preventive maintenance package that allows us to offer you a six month warranty on parts and service, basic to extensive repairs, and a complete calibration adjustment. Each level differs mainly in the type of documentation it comes with—our most basic service is undocumented, while our most rigorous, accredited services offer instrument performance data along with complete measurement uncertainty data including k=2 confidence intervals. Each level of service is fully customizable to ensure that our clients receive exactly what they need.

Other Services
As an add on to our standard pipette services, Calibrate, Inc. also offers consultation on SOP and equipment maintenance program development, pipetting technique training, and complimentary, anytime access to our Quality Assurance department. Quality
Calibrate, Inc. earned accreditation to the ISO 17025 standard through A2LA in 2004. We're now accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. To further demonstrate our commitment to quality, we have recently added ANSI/NCSL z540.03 accreditation to our list of qualifications. (In fact, we are proud to be one of the leaders in A2LA accreditation to this standard for on-site service!) As part of our accreditation, we have a complete third-party reviewed quality system, an ongoing and rigorous employee training program, and a demonstrated commitment to customer service and continual improvement. We also have an OSHA-approved health and safety program.
