Copernicus Group IRB, established in July1996, is an independent institutional review board dedicated to protecting the rights and welfare of research study participants. CGIRB’s Board reviews research protocols, investigators, and subject information and consent forms to ensure compliance with federal regulations and consideration of local concerns. CGIRB has maintained full AAHRPP accreditation since 2004, most recently achieving re-accreditation in 2007.
