A trial led by City of Hope, one of the largest cancer research and treatment organizations in the nation, contributed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of mosunetuzumab, the first bispecific antibody to treat people with relapsed or difficult to treat follicular lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, after they have received two or more standard therapies.

A research team led by Hospital for Special Surgery Research Institute, in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine, has been awarded two grants, one from the Department of Defense and one from the National Institutes of Health, to conduct groundbreaking research regarding lupus flares.1 Sun exposure can trigger skin lesions and worsening of kidneys or other internal organs affected by lupus, but how inflammation at the skin leads to internal organ effects is unknown.
