MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 2006--SRI International and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), today announced they have received a five-year, $10 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the Pharmacogenetics of Nicotine Addiction Treatment (PNAT) program. The interdisciplinary, multi-center research program is focused on the pharmacogenetics (the genetic influence on drug therapies) of nicotine addiction and treatment.
