Brief PROJECT Overview

Create an inventory of historic digital materials (e.g., photographs, documents) from USPs archive. Will write descriptions of items based on research and categorize each item.

How will YOU create impact here at USP?

This project will contribute to sharing the story of USPs impact both nationally and globally by creating an inventory of historic digital materials. The inventory will be used in USP communications to highlight USPs achievements and values over time and to provide context for decision-making. The successful candidate will create narratives of the historic digital materials that will showcase each item's role in USPs history.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices along with the following competencies and experience:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in library sciences, museum curation, history, or relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with consideration to audience and purpose.
  • Eagerness to continuously improve displays a growth mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with digital archives preferred.
