The purpose of the Associate, GSC Document Delivery Hub role is to provide leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory documents are completed with high quality and meet all guidelines, Eli Lilly & Company policies, and any external requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership, guidance and training for submission quality through document quality and document finalization activities of the Document Delivery Handling (DDH) Team.

  • Contribute subject matter expertise, initiative, and leadership to the development of new organizational strategies with respect to new/updated processes and/or technologies through collaboration with the GSC Capability leads and other team members.

  • Assist management with assigning and prioritizing DDH projects and tasks.

  • Anticipate and resolve key technical and operational problems.

  • Respond to and/or anticipate business partner needs and handle non-standard requests.

  • Contribute to and/or implement SOPs or work instructions to ensure regulatory documents and systems are well controlled and follow applicable regulations.

  • Influence management on key decisions impacting the DDH Team.

  • Represent DDH expertise in cross functional projects/initiatives.

Perform document services, including:
  • Function as subject matter expert in Editing, Quality Review and Document Finalization tasks.

  • Perform peer review of document work completed by other Document Delivery Handling colleagues.

  • Partner effectively with other document delivery areas to ensure smooth delivery of final documents, including US and GBS-based staff.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientifically related or medically related field or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 3 years of document writing and/or clinical research experience

Other Information/Additional Preferences:
  • High level of attention to detail and superior English-language skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work under timelines with vitality to meet publishing deadlines

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong problem-solving skills regarding streamlining non-routine problems in relation to department procedures and processes

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to assertively marshal the efforts of multiple contributors to projects

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across cultures

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office, Adobe Acrobat, and other document-handling software used in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with document management systems

  • Willing and flexible to take on other duties when needed
