Job Details

The Role:  

Life Edit is looking for a highly motivated summer intern to support the Comp Bio team in development and maintenance of computational platform for lentiviral pooled screens analysis and visualization. In this role you will interact with a diverse team of biologists and bioinformaticians to interrogate data and develop models in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 

Here’s What You’ll Do:  

    Maintain and optimize current lenti pooled screens NGS analysis pipeline.  Generate QC report and editing summary for the biologists in wet lab.  Develop computational approaches to learn complex data relationships and data-driven insights.  Data visualization  

Requirements: 

    Currently pursing a Bachelors Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.  Experience in NGS data analysis.  Experience programming with Python, R or other programming language  Knowledge of cloud technologies (such as AWS)
