As a part of a collaborative team of versatile professionals focused on Global Patient Safety, you will work alongside leaders and at least one team to grow in several dimensions. You are accountable for ensuring ceremonies occur and are effective, identify and resolve impediments across the team, assist POs in tracking metrics and communicating team progress, and manage risks and dependencies.

  • For your scrum team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the flow of value is smooth and seamless, encourage self-organization, and influence the use of DevSecOps practices and concepts.  

  • You will shape the team through experimentation to increase their agile maturity.  

  • You will help the team understand and apply agile principles, value propositions, and practices of Scrum.  

  • You are self-motivated, creative, and effective in empowering team members to propose and own solutions to complex problems.

  • You can communicate and collaborate with personnel at all levels of the organization and with diverse personality types.

  • As we continue to transform the broader organization’s agility, you may play a role in applying our best models across different contexts. Depending on how you want to grow in your career, we’ll add in other types of work experiences that fit your interests. 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 1+ years working experience in applying agile principles

  • Scrum Master certification 

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in leading scrum teams through transforming agile ways of working 

  • Coding skills of any kind, ranging from web development to server-side software 

  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now

  • Experience working in a highly regulated software delivery environment with sensitive data at core

  • Experience working on global cross-functional teams

  • Additional Agile Certifications (CSPO, CAL, PSM, PMI-ACP, etc.)

  • Personal professionalism: you hold the highest standard of Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness. 

  • Ability to speak up: you’re not shy about speaking up when you disagree.

  • Curiosity: you study on your own, build networks that help you, and invite feedback.

This role is located in Indianapolis, IN with a hybrid work model.
