Key Functions

  • Perform statistical data summaries, tabulation, and graphical representation of results.
  • Conduct exploratory and final multivariate analysis for continuous and categorical data using statistical computational software.
  • Assist supervisor and project(s) leaders in developing appropriate study protocols and Statistical Analyses Plans (SAP) for Quality Improvement Programs, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Statistical Consulting and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with supervision as needed.
  • Compile, analyze, determine uncertainty, and report statistical data for various projects including, but not limited to manual and computer-aided data abstraction and evaluation, clinical trials, computerized imaging, and bioinformatics.
  • Prepare statistical considerations for basic trial designs and carry out uncomplicated statistical analyses independently and more complex projects with supervision.
  • Assist in the development of new statistical methodology for measurement and analysis of data.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods, simulation models, and skilled statistical programming as needed.
  • Assess relevant literature as well as existing data, evaluate the quality of data used in reports and assist with preparation and distribution of data for committee and scientific meetings.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • May present findings at relevant meetings both inside and outside of the institution as requested.
  • Protocol Review
  • Participate in the protocol review process.
  • Statistical Reporting
  • Prepare written reports to investigators.
  • May present findings at relevant meetings both inside and outside of the institution as requested.

 

Artificial Intelligence Experience:

  • Leverage knowledge of data science, methodologies, and processing techniques to analyze vast amounts of data in AI collaborations with technology personnel.
  • Utilize knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, mathematical and statistical modeling to assist in developing and executing technology solutions.
  • Be familiar with at least one modeling or simulation packages (ex: Amazon AWS SageMaker).

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in data summaries/graphics/data visualization and analysis utilizing statistical packages such as Statistical Analysis System (SAS), R, Python, STATA, etc.
  • Skill in communication both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with others and take instructions from Principals as part of a collaborative team.
  • Be strong in providing solution-oriented suggestions based on project needs and final deliverables.
  • Team-oriented individual.
  • Deadline orientation facilitated by the ability to organize and manage own work and time to complete work assignments in adequate and timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism and respect for others’ work and contributions.
  • Experience in assisting with manuscript development.
