Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Principal Scientist – TS/MS to provide technical support for the development, implementation, and execution of a manufacturing execution system. Design and deliver MES production instructions and transition to support of routine manufacturing operations. Serve as the PMX TS/MS subject matter expert and provide technical leadership to the PMX team related to process and ticket requirements for parenteral drug product manufacturing. Translate product control strategy and process flow document requirements into accurate instruction sets. Guide the change prioritization process, working with the business to understand change requirements and collaborating with IT to understand complexity. Participate in design reviews, final design specification reviews, and localization of PMX tickets. Provide technical support both for the initial start-up of the Formulation area as well as post-Process Validation.. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting cGMP manufacturing. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with drug product manufacturing, including equipment, facilities, computer systems, and operations; 1 year of experience in TS/MS, MSAT, or Quality Assurance; 1 year of experience with operational control strategy including CQA, CPP, and CIPC; 1 year of experience with at least one manufacturing execution system; 1 year of experience building and testing in PMX; and 1 year of experience with formulation and project management. 5% domestic and international travel required. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. #LI-DNI
