About the Role:

Gladstone's Center for Translational Advancement (GCTA) is actively recruiting for the Research Associate II/III position to play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary team, focusing on a large-scale drug re-positioning project. This role presents a unique opportunity for the ideal candidate to be actively engaged in cutting-edge single-cell RNA sequencing technologies and contribute significantly to critical aspects of the Center's drug re-purposing infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Experience in the single-cell RNA-seq technique

  • Execute routine single-cell RNA-seq assays with high proficiency and autonomy

  • Provide expert insights through meticulous quality assurance reports

  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of protocols and workflows within our collaborative research team

What you will need:

  • BS or MS in biological sciences is required

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting with molecular biology assays

  • Previous experience in RNA work is strongly desired

  • Organized, detail-oriented individual with a collaborative and teamwork attitude

  • Effective teamwork and excellent communication skills are imperative for this role

  • Collaborate seamlessly within our multidisciplinary team, ensuring clear communication to integrate single-cell RNA sequencing data into the larger drug re-purposing project

Hiring Range:

Research Associate I- $25/hr-$29/hr

Research Associate II- $64K-$75K
