The Senior Administrative Project Coordinator within Cancer Immunology & Cell Therapy (CICT) serves as a key partner to the SVP, Head of CICT and leadership. This individual will provide key business and project management capabilities to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of CICT throughout the departments locations. This individual reports to the SVP, Head of CICT and provides project management coordination, reporting, and support for operations across this organization.
SVP, Head, Cancer Immunology & Cell Therapy
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Management support of CICT initiatives as required, including:
Extending collection of tools and platforms to facilitate effective and targeted communication to members of the CICT TRC community
Data collection to support goal driven establishment and expansion of the CICT TRC collaboration and community
With CICT Leadership, designing CICT initiatives to drive engagement across the locations
Facilitating CICT based change management initiatives and compliance (e.g. time tracking)
Major department meetings and events planning and coordination
Leading with a team mindset: being an active partner and/or mentor to roles with related responsibilities in the CICT, and team member to peers in Seattle
Working with the other members of the CICT leadership team to facilitate calendaring for complex meetings (e.g. business development meetings)
Support SVP, Head of CICT with day-to-day operations including but not limited to: travel planning, expense reporting, calendar management, generating first-draft agendas for CICT leadership and taking meeting minutes for non-scientific forums where the head of the CICT is the meeting owner (40%)
Bachelors degree preferred or the equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience, biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred
Strong ability to build and sustain a strong relationship with members of site leadership, facilities and HR teams to ensure fluid communication and timely execution of projects
Strong affinity for building a team-oriented culture and collaborative work environment across geographically dispersed teams, hybrid work environments and different departments
Ability to gather, track, and analyze relevant data to drive decision making and further action
Works within established procedures and in loosely defined problem-solving situations
Makes decisions that require choosing between limited alternatives to resolve problems of varying levels of complexity
Actively participates in troubleshooting of routine problems and initiatives related to continuous improvement or development of new approaches / technologies
Experience developing tracking and utilization spreadsheets supporting decision making for senior leadership
Prior experience in an operational support role with demonstrated success balancing multiple project demands simultaneously
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office; specifically, Outlook Calendaring, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and MS Project
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $79,000 to $110,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
