Position: Scientist (ref.# 7578)

Duties: Use experience with: in vivo tumor model (both syngeneic and xenograft) development and optimization; Multiparameter (14+ color) flow cytometry panel design and optimization; flow cytometry data acquisition; Flow Jo, BD FACS Symphony and BD FACS DIVA software; in vitro and ex vivo immunological assay development and optimization; Graphpad Prism or Jump software to develop and carry out complex immunological mechanism of action studies. Work on murine tumor model development, bead-based cell isolation, development and execution of ex vivo immunological assays, including but not limited to immunophenotyping via flow cytometry, intracellular cytokine staining, killing assays, cell tracer dye based proliferation assays, ELISpot, AND ELISA based assays. Design and execute in vivo and in vitro studies to support the preclinical development of T cell therapies and immune oncology drugs. Serve on project teams, contributing to the science as well as leading the pharmacology strategy and regularly present data internally and externally.

Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biotechnology, Immunology, Cell Biology or a related Biological discipline plus 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability described in the skill set above. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biotechnology, Immunology, Cell Biology or a related Biological discipline plus 6 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability described in the skill set above.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $128,225 to $173,482, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
