About the role:
Plasma-derived therapies are critical, life-saving medicines, which patients with rare and complex diseases around the world rely on every day. Global demand for these therapies, particularly immunoglobulins, has increased dramatically over the last 15 years, and continues to grow. Takeda is established as second largest provider of plasma-derived therapies (PDT) globally. Leveraging on 75+ year pioneering legacy, Takeda believes there is tremendous potential to do more to meet expectations of patients and health care providers with plasma-derived therapies for patients with immunologic, hematologic, autoimmune and other complex diseases.
PDT’s mission is to transform the lives of patients through innovation and sustainability from plasma donation to delivery of holistic plasma-derived therapeutic solutions. Data Digital & Technology (DDT) is a trusted PDT partner, transforming donor experience and patient lives through innovation and excellence. You will provide oversight across the PDT DDT portfolio of projects Globally, facilitate staffing and detailed review of all US DDT projects. You will report to the Head of Strategy and PMO and be based in our Bannockburn, IL office.
How you will contribute:
Accountable for delivery of strategic projects
Develop and implement a useful, well-organized structure for the PMO
Develop and implement operating mechanisms to manage the project work, including communication plans, workshops, team meetings
Identify, manage, and escalate project and program risks and decisions; uncover and monitor interdependences with active projects and programs elsewhere in the business
Manage the lifecycle of projects to ensure a structured approach to the work and avoid overloading resources
Partner with internal functions as required to ensure complete delivery of project scope, including global DD&T resources
Minimum of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, business or engineering (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5+ years Project Management experience
Biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry experience desirable
PMP, Agile SAFe or equivalent certification
