Maintenance Technician III (2nd Shift) Hours: 2:30pm-11pm M-F
Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.
Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct
Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met
Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
Capable of training others on tasks
Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
Can troubleshoot control systems from PLC to HMI to automated valves, servos, and controls
Perform Preventative tasks daily as scheduled
Proficient in Predictive maintenance technologies (Ultrasonic, Vibration, or Thermography)
Perform corrective maintenance mechanically on production and facility equipment
HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience, or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. Experience, or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
