We are looking for someone to be responsible for a specialized role in the Asset Management lifecycle process. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, leading coordination of Laboratory Equipment Service, Preventative Maintenance, Asset Projects, Service Ticket Follow-Up, and coordinating Laboratory Equipment Vendors/critical issues. This role is collaborative and requires working extensively with end users in the R&pD laboratories and equipment/service Suppliers.

A typical day might include:
  • Laboratory Equipment Service Requests (LESR): Lead Laboratory Equipment Service Coordination (LESR) from receipt of service request, to scheduling, follow-up, tracking site access, and completion of service requests. Lead high-level service coordination projects such as department-wide relocations, installations and preventative maintenance. Onboard & Train New Hires on service coordination process/lifecycle.

  • Laboratory Equipment Scheduling, Follow-Up & Confirmations: Send scheduling requests, perform follow-up for unscheduled requests/requests that are pending action and oversee team members in preparation of service visit coordination assignments and site access for all scheduled visits.

  • Laboratory Equipment Service Request Reconciliation: Coordinate with end users and suppliers to obtain laboratory asset service reports for completed requests and ensure each request includes the proper asset information and associated documentation.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance initiatives, review/compile asset information from asset database and work with vendors to schedule annual equipment maintenance visits for 5,000+ assets.

  • Meetings & Presentations: Schedule & lead laboratory equipment related meetings and develop presentation content.

  • Laboratory Equipment Service Data: Create and analyze laboratory equipment service data reports and present to key internal & external partners.

  • Additional ad-hoc Lab Equipment Service-related inquiries/projects (such as workflow review, process flow/guidance documentation creation, implementing/identifying process improvements, lab equipment business review coordination, vendor issue meetings).

  • Database familiarity (ability to work in multiple databases and pick-up on database learning easily)

Salary Range (annually)

$67,600.00 - $110,200.00
