The Role:
We are looking for an aspiring Cloud Infrastructure Co-Op Engineer whos excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology. This individual will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application development teams to drive automation of orchestration around cloud infrastructure provisioning, cloud account vending, cloud service enablement, and application cloud onboarding. Were looking for bright, energetic, and out-of-the-box problem solvers to join our team. You will be part of Cloud Services team to enable developer productivity and quick to deliver business needs by delivering best in class support with AWS services. This Engineer position exposes associates to AWS services, Automation, DevOps Integration and modernization.
Our program starts on January 16, 2024 and ends on June 14, 2024. All applicants must be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the program and must be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.
Heres What Youll Do:
Work on impactful projects collaborating with Pharma application teams to drive standardization, compliance, and simplification improving speed to market and security posture
Enable developer productivity and quick to deliver business needs by delivering best in class support with AWS services
Expose developer associates to AWS services, automation, DevOps integration and modernization
Interpret business requirements to articulate a design, develop and execute solutions to address business goals and strategies
Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine requirements that adhere to our regulatory compliance and audit requirements
Work closely with Infosec partners to develop, review, validate and recommend cloud security controls, guardrails, service control policies and monitor compliance to enterprise - level security standards
Assist in developing, updating and maintaining process, playbook and/or runbook documentation
Assist in researching and analyzing cloud security policies and related mitigation controls
Assist in verifying/testing DLP policies/rules and product technical configuration
Assist in automating processes and developing scripts to improve the efficiency
Heres What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Must be enrolled in a BA/BS, MS or PhD program in a related field
Indefinite right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Willing and able to relocate to Atlanta, GA for the co-op
Heres What You will Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Desire to learn about Cloud Engineering and Operations
Curious about technology, self-motivated, and excited to learn
Foundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles, data structures and algorithms
Familiarity with Cloud technologies, Container platforms, Data and DevOps
Team player who thrives in a continually changing and high demanding environment
Ability to work in an agile environment
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, SQL is a plus
Familiarity with AWS services
Understanding of Linux and networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS
