Title: Principal Research Associate, High Throughput Operations (HTOps)
Location: Norwood, MA
Reports to: Senior Engineer II/HTOPs
The Principal Research Associate TDHT Production Operations will support new technology process transfer, failure investigation, and production troubleshooting. This position will require both independent and collaborative work across operating and development teams to implement robust processes to produce DNA, RNA, and LNP. The successful candidate must demonstrate the drive to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly motivated team.
Heres What Youll Do:
Lead technology transfer activities to ensure timely and successful tech transfer and enable right first-time execution in HTOps.
Lead or participate in cross functional projects teams tasked with platform improvement or building new manufacturing capabilities.
Collaborate with multiple departments including Process Development, Integrated Robotics, Digital, and Analytical Development to implement new processes
Update and write technical documentation and standard operating procedure (SOPs) associated with HTOps production as needed
Analyze complex data to inform areas for improvement
Provide technical support for DNA, RNA, and LNP manufacturing including troubleshooting, process improvements, and failure resolution.
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:
BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or related discipline
4-6 years of relevant experience
Highly organized with drive and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace
Ability to lead and work in large cross-functional teams
Exceptional analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to analyze large, complex data
Technical agility. The capability to manage diverse technical areas
Experience with process tech transfer, including facility fit assessment and definition of process and equipment requirements
