Manager, Accounting Operations
As a member of Accounting Operation team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing solutions that drive our strategic goals. This is a tremendous opportunity to be involved on high-priority initiatives and collaborate with colleagues throughout the company. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll work with our IT partners to transforms business requirements and priorities into technical requirements, prototypes, and end-to-end solutions. This person will provide innovative solutions to maximize accounting processes, project implementations, operations & resource utilization.
A typical day might include the following:
Manage the work of various team members that transforms business requirements and priorities into technical requirements, prototypes, and end-to-end solutions.
Work with Accounting management to prioritize projects/tasks, allocate resources and plan periodic short term weekly and monthly goals.
Engage with process owners to understand processes and to identify and assess appropriate automation use cases and prioritize automation opportunities.
Translates business requirements into various appropriately documented deliverables such as functional design specification, use cases, and workflow/processes diagrams.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions tailored to their needs, including dimensions, hierarchies, data forms, workflows, and calculations.
Lead internal team to create, document test cases and scenarios and help execute them in Oracle EPM and Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS).
Develop data validation and reconciliation procedures to ensure reliable financial data.
Stay updated on EPM trends and keep abreast of the latest developments in EPM technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and participation in professional communities.
Troubleshooting functional data discrepancy to support the accountants in our monthly closes.
Run various testing cycles end to end with team to ensure proper testing is completed for various enhancements and projects.

You have a good understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Technology (SOX) controls and expertise in software development life cycle, both traditional waterfall and agile methods respectively.
Working knowledge of Oracle EPM suite specifically Financial Consolidation and Close and SmartView is a must and knowledge of Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is a huge plus.
Hands on experience in various Oracle Financial modules such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable is a bonus.
