Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Sr. Engineer – Plant Engineer to support electrical systems and ensure reliable operation of the existing electrical systems at the Lilly New Jersey facility. Work with cross function team to troubleshoot issues and provide technical solution for electrical systems. Lead or manage project activities and influence project team members to ensure that project scope, budget and schedules are maintained. Prepare the appropriate GMP documentation prior to making changes on validated systems, preparing project schedules and budgets, executing the schedules and budgets, performing short-circuit and arc-flash calculations, maintaining accurate panel board schedules and designing electrical distribution, generation, grounding and lighting systems.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering in a GMP Environment or related.  Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or related, and 1 year of experience in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in a GMP Environment or related. Must have work experience in: Designing, maintaining and enhancing power distribution and lighting systems; Selecting/overseeing/coordinating engineering contractors/firms; Development of engineering and GMP specifications and drawings; Overseeing or performing engineering, quality and safety investigations, Change Control implementations and CAPA efforts; Leading and supporting coordination activities during  power outages; NEC Code requirements and their application; and Short-circuit and arc-flash calculations. Telecommuting permitted two days a week. Domestic and international travel required two weeks a year.
