We are seeking an ambitious post-doctoral scientist with strong research and communication skills to contribute to high visible research projects. Your work will contribute to the development of immunology discovery research. In this role, you will:
- Support immunology research project advancing the understanding of the role of B cell in IBD
- Work in close collaboration with immunology research, in vivo pharmacology and bioinformatics groups
- Perform phenotypic and functional characterization of B cells in IBD mouse models using scRNA-seq, multidimensional FACS, confocal microscopy and/or CODEX, in vitro functional assays and other techniques
- Report to a PhD senior scientist in the immunology group located in Lilly San Diego, CA
The successful candidate will need to be capable of working independently to craft the experiments, troubleshoot and drive the next steps of the project with the goal to deliver data leading to the writing and submission of a scientific manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Basic Qualifications- PhD in immunology or life science related field
- Experience with immunology research, B cell immunology or IBD is highly preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of mouse models of IBD and experience with animal handling
- Experience with multidimensional flow cytometry
- Experience with confocal microscopy and/or CODEX
- Experience with scRNA-seq data acquisition and analysis
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years. You will have opportunities to apply for full time positions after your duration is complete.
