The Role

Moderna is seeking co-ops to join the Commercial team to support initiatives across the functions.

  • Commercial Operations, Emerging Markets primary role has two key focus areas including customer experience and sales effectiveness. In this position, help develop end-to-end Customer Experience Journeys covering customer touchpoints with Moderna in the Emerging Markets. Propose customer care KPIs and identify areas for improvement. Aid commercial teams in the Emerging Markets in tracking sales performance by customer and deploying/managing the CRM system.

  • The Digital Marketing, Emerging Markets primary role is to support the planning, development, and implementation of digital initiatives in the region. This individual works on the development of digital projects to drive differentiation and vaccine uptake in the countries under scope and supports launch readiness efforts for new vaccines. He or she works with country, regional, and global team members on projects that may have visibility across the organization.

  • The RSV Launch Readiness primary role is to support launch readiness efforts associated with the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine, a vaccine that is under development. The main objective is to search and gather data that is clear and actionable to be ready to compete in certain countries of the Emerging Markets region. That information may include the competitive environment, public sector dynamics, and key stakeholders, among others. That data will inform the strategy in the region and at the country level.

  • Marketing Operations primary role is to support our marketing operations team in ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced global marketing environment while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Our Winter/Spring co-op program will run from January 16 June 14, 2024. All applicants must be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial process.

  • Participate in commercial projects, ensuring tasks are completed within the stipulated timeline and budget.

  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.


Heres What Youll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled Junior, Senior, master's student, MBA student/ graduate

  • Previous experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing.

  • Willing and able to relocate to Cambridge, MA or Princeton, NJ for the co-op

  • Indefinite right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
