  • Continuously evaluate technologies providing insights/strategies for the implementation of cutting-edge proteomics technologies.
  • Communicate recent experimental results to an internal multidisciplinary team.
  • Document results of analyses and investigations in a reproducible manner.
  • Expected to independently dive into relevant scientific publications.

  • B.S/ M.S in biochemistry, or analytical chemistry with 2-5+ years' relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with sample preparation (e.g., immuno-enrichment, isobaric & isotopic labeling, peptide fractionation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of mass spectrometry-based proteomics and experience in the operation of HRMS instrumentation (e.g., Orbitrap, qTOF, IMS-TOF, etc.) and chromatography is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with optimizing and developing new sample preparation methods for protein/PTM profiling is preferred.
  • Must work well in a small team setting, with ability to work both independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a desire to work across functional teams.

Our goal is to empower the scientific community with tools that help them to achieve exceptional outcomes by removing the technological barriers to studying the proteome. Our technology is designed to enable breakthrough studies to happen by taking deep proteomics from a pinhole to a panorama.

Over the last 15 years, the fields of genomics and transcriptomics have undergone an explosion in content and discovery, fueled by massively parallel technologies that made large-scale studies possible and tractable. Advancement in those fields have deepened our understanding of biology and ushered in new companies, applications and diagnostics solutions that impact everyday human life.

Similar capabilities have evaded the field of proteomics. As a result, researchers have been forced into a tradeoff: the scale of the study, or the depth of its coverage. Until now. We’re committed to eliminating the obstacles that have kept proteomics’ potential from matching the pace of advancements we’ve seen in other fields. We believe that unbiased, deep, rapid, large-scale proteomics can, and must, become accessible to the broad scientific community so that we may significantly advance our understanding of biology, health, and disease. And this will require solutions that allow researchers to accurately survey and analyze the full diversity of proteins across individuals, over time.
