What You’ll Be Doing 

The Service and Product Delivery Analyst (SPDA) ensures that products and solutions are delivered and supported in a way that is business value driven. The SPDA works with the Service and Product Delivery Lead to support business processes by identifying and ensuring the most appropriate solutions are deployed and configured.

He or she will support and facilitate inspection readiness along with the delivery and maintenance of value-generating enhancements for FUME/HSE solutions. He or she will assist with application implementation and computer systems validation activities across the FUME/HSE application portfolio.

The SPDA develops business knowledge and strong relationships with business partners to understand business needs and communicate those to necessary technical resources in conjunction with business process and solution architects. The analyst interfaces between IT and business partners at a project, application, or program level.

How You’ll Succeed 

  • Engages with the Global FUME/HSE business partners and sites and proactively seeks opportunities for IT to deliver business value.

  • Assists in authoring business cases which document alternatives and cost/benefit analysis.

  • Conduct discovery workshops, contribute to build solution architecture and prepare design specifications.

  • Identify and implement technical requirements resulting in the use of appropriate technology, applications, processes and solutions.

  • Understands business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa.

  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages/disadvantages of custom development versus off-the-shelf offerings.

  • Leads the definition and gathering of requirements and provides business process subject matter expertise to developers.

  • Works in an agile-first business case and technology delivery pattern.

  • Ensures the appropriate business rules are engaged for solution execution.

  • Supports user acceptance testing and acceptance criteria.

  • Networks with appropriate IT colleagues to identify solutions to meet business partners’ needs.

  • Ensures that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business needs.

  • Work with area lead to support system validation efforts.

  • Research business data needs and present findings as requested.

What You Should Bring 

  • Highly prefer experience in GxP operations.

  • Experience in Computer System Validation processes.

  • Knowledge of or experience using an agile and lean framework for the entire solution lifecycle including design, implementation, automation, modernization, maintenance, and optimization of solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience supporting a FUME/HSE area

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and articulate complex technical concepts (i.e. business analyst role, etc.)

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Experience in solution delivery and service management processes, including ITIL.

  • Experience working globally across organizational levels and in a multicultural environment.

  • Experience using distributed solutions and configurable commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS).

  • Experience with business intelligence – data mining and presentation formats (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Your Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and experience with designing and developing specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings

  • High School Diploma/GED with at least 5+ years of experience with designing and developing specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings
