Job Details
Data & Information Quality Associate Lead
As Data & Information Quality Associate Lead you will be responsible for implementing the Global Data & Information Quality framework, including processes, behaviors, governance and systems. With a strong focus on understanding what data the company wants, how they use that data, and how it relates to the Data Strategy; ultimately to ensure the completeness, accuracy, quality, accessibility and proficiency of all data on an ongoing basis.
You will focus on ensuring that our Data provides quality Information for the Business across its full life-cycle, all systems and users, Global, Area and Affiliates.
You will lead several data quality improvement programs, data mapping / data migration, data profiling, data management projects and data awareness, coordinating multifunctional teams and contractors spread across the globe. Data skills will be accompanied by an ability to communicate persuasively and effectively at all levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing advice to BTS on Data Quality system architecture and integrations
· Supervision of all interdependencies, risks and issues on Data Quality for all new implementations (i.e. new channels, new applications)
· Developing standards and guidance to Data Analysts, Scientists and Visualization Developers
· Progress reporting and Stakeholder communication on all Data governance framework
· Leading design and implementation of Data Quality monitoring applications
· Monitoring Data alignment across all analytics and Use Cases, defining and implementing action plans
· Monitoring reported issues on Data Quality and prioritizing related actions
· Review the business processes and workflows needed for strengthening data management and playing a major role in identifying, cleaning and assuring the data quality
· Ensure that data processes and activity is clearly documented, understood and communicated to international stakeholders
· Contribute to define standards for entities and relationship in various business fields (customer, products, business structure and other might come)
· As member of global data steward define the processes and the governance to maintain reference values of business entities
· Ensure consistent and complete data monitoring and evaluation of quality against agreed standards
· Creation and management of Metadata dictionary
· Developing training material and documentation for data analysts, scientists and engineers
· Interface with main stakeholders in affiliates, areas and global teams to intercept business needs in terms of data and translate them into formal business requirements and user stories
· Define and design the Data Quality framework that will drive and proceduralize data ingestion process, data governance, data publishing and data compliance
· Define data awareness and proficiency training programs for data analysts, scientists and engineers
· Organise a knowledge base aroud data tailored for various profiles cooperating primarily with Global Learning team
Qualifications
Required:
Skills and experience:
· At least 10 years’ experience in data operations, quality and governance
· Expert knowledge of developing and using the strategies, systems, processes, controls and capabilities required to manage Data Quality
· Significant experience of delivering Data Quality initiatives and the business transformation required to achieve and maintain them
· Interface with main stakeholders in affiliates, areas and global teams to intercept business needs in terms of data and translate them into formal business requirements and user stories
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent
· PhD or relevant Masters in Big Data, Data Science or Information Technology preferred
· Experience in Master Data Management systems, development, processes and operations
· Experience of working with CRM and Sales data
· Strong numeracy and good statistical skills
· Analytical mindset and keen attention to detail
· Knowledge in AbbVie Ontology, Metadata, Data architecture and Infrastructure
· Data Visualization literate in Power BI, Qliksense, Foundry
· Capability to read through lines of Python R, SQL or T-SQL, PySpark code
· Knowledge of Foundry platform (preferred)
· Excellent communication skills in English
· Excellent problem-solving skills

· A proven track record of bringing industry best practice into an organization and using this to drive continuous improvement
· A proven track record in continuous improvement and an understanding of how to lead and manage high-performance teams
· Experience of working with multiple Stakeholders
· Ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively drive the communication with Senior Leadership about Data & Information Quality
