In this vital role the Sr. HCP Omnichannel Marketing Manager for Cardiovascular (Repatha) will not only have a significant impact on the continued and future success of our US Cardiovascular business at Amgen, but also the lives the CV patients that can benefit from Repatha treatment.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing critical HCP Omnichannel communication strategy and tactics to help deliver on the commercial success of Repatha, one of Amgens flagship and priority brands. This role will be evolving and evangelizing an in-depth understanding of HCPs to shape a cohesive communication plan to strengthen disease state awareness, drive deeper brand engagement and ultimately drive HCP adoption and patient acquisition and persistency through one-Cardiovascular and one-Repatha approach. This role will be leading a variety of innovative omnichannel initiatives that support and amplify field sales activities to deliver on Amgens customer centric vision.
As Repathas HCP Omnichannel Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for implementing customer segmentation and targeting strategies within communication environment that enable brand objectives; helping to build innovation opportunities; and overseeing development of all creative assets. This position will also have accountability for a sizeable media investment. To that end, this position will require strategic thought leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong ability to employ a customer-first mentality. This position will also involve close collaboration with the Marketing Excellence team to build annual strategies and ongoing opportunities.
Specific responsibilities will include:Co-lead overarching HCP omnichannel strategy and pull-through to ensure that brand/business objectives are met across branded and disease state education initiatives
Identify appropriate message, sequence, channel and target customer for branded and unbranded communication
Orchestrate content development aligning with segmentation insights within various channels including Search, Custom Programs, Programmatic, Audio and Social media
Overall accountability for breakthrough creative assets, from brief to launch, including content mapping to ensure that creative delivers against the channel/placement
Lead the development of innovative and forward-looking media plans and, in partnership with the Global media team, media agency, ensure that media is continually optimized
Develop and track the measurement of important metrics for owned and paid media, HCP engagement, and advertising effectiveness in collaboration with the internal media team
Build upon the existing franchise technological roadmap, in partnership with internal and external partners, to ensure the best possible customer experience
Lead annual brand/tactical planning cycles for HCP digital marketing, including identification of innovation and test and learn opportunities
Build seamless, lock-step partnership with critical partners including HCP Promo marketing, Patient Access, Corporate Communications, Advocacy, Scientific Communications, Global Commercial Capabilities, and Commercial Data and Analytics to ensure synergies, integration and alignment.
Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant HCP communications
Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs.
Create a strong, inclusive and supportive team culture. Fostering a culture that celebrates and values a team of diverse experiences and backgrounds and elevating team potential through development and coaching.
Domestic travel up to 20%.

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrMasters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrBachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrAssociates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:Strong marketing competence with a solid grasp of marketing strategy, market research, brand positioning, and tactical plan development.
Experience leading innovative communication strategy, across breakthrough content creation and progressive media plan.
Translating market research into effective communication campaigns or programs.
Exhibiting passion and empathy to build meaningful experiences with customers by understanding their needs and desires.
Experience working with advertising agencies to develop and produce engaging creative.
Experience working with media agencies.
Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to exercise strong judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards.
Excellent communication skills and self-awareness of leadership style.
Ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
Experience marketing directly to customers, with a preference for pharmaceutical or regulated consumer goods or services.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team of cross functional partners in aligning to a common vision, and towards the development of individual staff members for improved performance and achievement of career aspirations.

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $140,752 - $171,525.
